This is likely from a recent period of inactivity and I was able to improve it by exercising the shutter; it is now misfiring about 15% of the time. It should continue to improve with use and it should be noted that the higher shutter speeds are unaffected as they are not controlled by this governor. This is a handy item when using the 50mm as it allows you to easily check for body levelness.
