I don't use rear swing so I locked it down. Bellows are light tight with two corner pinholes repaired; two of the take up loops have also fallen off with age, but since the bellows are firm, this is not a use issue. My best description of using it is that of a Toyo 45 or 810 with simpler, more user friendly controls.
Plus the KMV has a handle. The camera has a double extension bed with rear focus. It is absolutely rigid and a joy to use. Remember, this camera was designed and built in an era of Kodak would spare no expense to do anything it wanted.
Front slide: 2.25 in each direction. Front tilt: 30 degrees in each direction. Rear tilt: 30 degrees in each direction.
Dimensions:12.5" x 13.25" x 4.5. Included is the scarce KMV 5x7 reducing back. Both backs have the even scarcer original ground glass. Boards are one each Copal 0, 1, Ilex 4, two Ilex 5, two Copal 3 (one aftermarket) and a Technika lens board adapter. A well worn, but solid KMV carry case is included; it even has the key!
